I was inspired to design these bangles while attending the US Open Tennis Tournament in New York City. There, I saw a few Australian fans wearing kangaroo suits in the hot weather. I thought how nice it would be, to be able to show support and love for one’s country, but without having to wear something so uncomfortable!!! I had always liked wearing bangles, so at that moment the Star Spangled Bangle® was born. These bangles, not surprisingly, are red, white and blue with stars just like our flag. My intention was to design something that women of all ages could wear whenever they wanted to dress their wrists with a splash of patriotism.
